Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information ASW Convert Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects through aswconvert.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17543803, and the controller of this information under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). For anything to do with your data, email sales@aswconvert.com.
What we collect
- When you book a call: your name, business name, email address, phone number, anything you tell us about what you need, and the time you picked.
- When you fill in a contact or free concept form: your name, email address, phone number and business name, your answers to the questions (for example the type of business, your budget range and who makes the decision), your current website or social media page if you give it, and anything you add for the concept. If you came from one of our adverts, we also record which advert and campaign it was.
- When you book or join an online meeting with us: your name and email address, the time you picked, and your video and voice while the call is live. We don't record meetings.
- When you email or message us on WhatsApp: whatever you choose to send, plus your email address or phone number.
- When you try our AI voice agent: your voice and what you say during the call. A call only starts when you press the button and allow your microphone.
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange and hold the call you booked, prepare your free concept if you asked for one, and talk to you about your project.
- To understand which of our adverts bring people to us, so we spend less on the ones that don't.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- If you become a client, to deliver the work, invoice you and keep proper business records.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: replying to people who contact us, running our business and keeping the website secure. If you become a client, we also use your information to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations (such as keeping accounting records). We do not sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and similar technology
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our free concept page keeps a random ID in your browser so we can count how many people visit it and how far they get, without knowing who you are until you choose to give your details. The examples of our work open real websites inside this one, and some of those may store small settings in your browser while you use them. Our client area uses a cookie to keep you signed in. You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings.
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services we need to run the website and our business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website and the database where enquiries and bookings are kept.
- Resend, which sends our emails, such as your booking confirmation.
- Telegram, which sends our team a short alert about new enquiries and bookings.
- Our email provider, where messages to and from us are stored.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
- Daily, which runs the video for our online meetings. Your video and voice pass through Daily only while the call is live.
- ElevenLabs, which runs the AI voice agent demo. If you start a call, your voice and the conversation are processed by ElevenLabs to make the call work.
- Our accountants and professional advisers, if you become a client, where they need it to do their job.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and bookings for as long as we need them to talk to you about your project, and delete those that don't lead to work within 2 years. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires (usually 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to us using it;
- send your information to you or another organisation in a usable format.
Email sales@aswconvert.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
